The ratio of doctors per patient in our country is very poor. Even the ratio of beds available in existing hospitals is even worse, this is the condition of the metropolis. Now just think about small towns or remote rural areas, the health care situation there is even more pathetic, or rather it is non-existent.
This gap is widening because we have acute shortage of skilled medical resources and it cannot be prepared or made in a day or months, it will take a long time. Due to which medical facilities are getting away from the reach of common man day by day. We have set out on a mission regarding this issue, the main objective of which is how to reach medical facilities to the common man in small towns, villages or remote areas of the country.
You will be amazed to know that the ratio of doctor patient in our country is 1:1800, in this if you separate the cities, then it is negligible in the villages.
According to the recent report came, only 75 thousand to 90 thousand ICU beds are available in India whereas we urgently need at least 5 lakh ICU beds to meet the minimum requirement of our population. Similarly we need 3.5 lakh medical professionals which includes only doctors and nurses.
Now you can imagine where we are in healthcare, because of this health services are becoming very expensive.
